Michael Bolton joins reggae stars on Georgia show

ConnectJA has confirmed Michael Bolton for the fourth staging of ‘Legends in Concert’ in Georgia.

The event, which has a major Jamaican presence, provides wholesome family entertainment and highlights and celebrates several stalwarts in the music industry. This year, patrons can expect performances from Bolton, the iconic Marcia Griffiths, L.U.S.T, Jigsy King, Lady G, Junie Ranks, Anthony Malvo, and Nanamous.

In 2019, the event hosted performances by Tanya Stephens, Stitchie, JC Lodge, Richie Stephens, and Ghost. Event organiser and founder of ConnectJA, Corney Levy, said, “After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, I am excited about the return of the event. Patrons will enjoy the entertainment package and can enjoy VIP access and parking, Michael Bolton memorabilia, photo booths, various Caribbean cuisine, hookah lounges, and so much more.” The event also has a charity component, with part proceeds going to aid community development in Jamaica.

ConnectJA has donated a 40-computer media centre and has provided over 20,000 books to Guys Hill High School and feeder schools in the district. These donations, coupled with various scholarships, have created countless opportunities for students. Levy, who attended the school from 1975 to 1980, has never turned his back on it.

He added “The artistes who perform on this show have all played a role in helping me to continue my charity efforts. We also have special packages available through Taylor Made Events and PR Management, for travel for groups from Jamaica, New York, and Florida, so they, too, can come out and support the cause.”

The event will be held on September 18 at Legion Field, Covington, Georgia.
