Not even the rain could calm the excitement of patrons who made their way to Negril for Dream Weekend.

Last held in 2021, significantly eased restrictions saw partygoers let loose. It was like party heaven at Daydreams, held at the Long Bay Beach Park. Though Saturday afternoon saw some showers of rain that caused many patrons to show up late for the event, when they started to pour into the venue, it was clear that they had used the time to perfect their outfits.

As the ‘dreamers’ sipped on their cocktails and others popped bottles of champagne, they gyrated to the music played by Pure Vibes, Extatic Sound, Chromatic Sound and DJ Crazy Neil.

But it was the performances that caused real pandemonium inside the venue. D’Yani and Marci Chin both gave short but entertaining sets that received praise from the audience. When Ding Dong and the Ravers took to the stage, the barriers that separated general admission from VIP were trampled on as patrons made their way close to the stage to enjoy the show to the max. Ding Dong, in his usual high energy fashion, had people dancing the night away.
