With more than 20 years in the entertainment industry, sound system owner Robert ‘Dozer’ Williams believes he has the tools required to steer the career of singjay Khago to higher heights.

Williams is now the newly minted manager for the recording artiste who is known for hits, such as Nah Sell Out, Tun Up Di Ting and Caan Cool.

“Well, I see Khago as an artiste with a lot of potential. All he needs is proper management to guide his career path and that’s where I can offer him that service,” said Williams, who is the owner of the popular Rebel T sound system. “I am prepared to sign him for three years and a flexible clause to extend for a further three years, as first right of a refusal. I will bring a management of flexibility, a service that’s lacking in the music industry now.”

Khago was just as upbeat about working with Williams.

“Management is a great thing to have especially if that manager loves music and we both respect each other as humans,” said the artiste. “This time I understand the music business a lot more and I just want to give the fans greater music.” Khago is also set to release new music.

Born Ricardo Gayle, the artiste is originally from St Ann. He came to prominence in 2006 when he entered the Festival Song competition with the song Only If You Know.

His albums, Walk a Mile and Dancehall Soca, which were both released in 2018, made the Billboard Reggae Albums chart’s top 10.
